Get ready for an awe-inspiring and exciting 3rd edition from 1-30 September 2023 at Claymore Connect, Orchard Road, Singapore. 

The upcoming Community Integration event is a flagship event of Business Indonesia-Singapore Association and it will welcome people of all nationalities who live and work in Singapore. This year’s Ignite. Integrate. Shape (IIS) will once again be presented in collaboration with the Embassy of Indonesia in Singapore and The Young Seakers, and strongly supported by the National Integration Council and Ministry of Culture, Community & Youth (MCCY).

This year’s programme repertoire has expanded with more exciting events added to the programme calendar. Visitors can expect fun learning Workshops such as learning how to make a 3D jelly cake, paint-a-mini-bear (families with kids are welcome), get insights into Chinese tea culture conducted by a Tea Practitioner, etc. What’s more, go on a Musical Journey with the solo and group performers and immerse in the musical entertainment on keyboard and guitar, brought to life by young people and adults from all walks of life. There will also be Fashion Shows and Singing Contest with trophies and great prizes to be won.

The event also includes the flagship’s inaugural Exhibition, which this year has a theme: “Celebrate shared Culture & Heritage”, showcasing the different facets of the countries’ arts, cultures and heritage. 

The exhibition area will be divided into three pavilions: International, Singapore, and Indonesia, with Indonesia occupying the largest floorspace at the pavilion. With a host of exciting programmes and activities awaits, this makes Ignite. Integrate. Shape (IIS) the most anticipated event for Singaporeans and all nationalities residing in Singapore.  

As Ignite. Integrate. Shape (IIS) continues to scale up and grow in the numbers of participants year-on-year, participants to this event can expect to attend a slew of engaging and interactive activities such as:  

• Hear the speakers and connect with people of all nationalities

• The opportunity to meet international industry professionals  

• Exhibition showcasing the Cultural and Heritage of Singapore

• Participate in Community Integration Activities and Programmes

• Participate in panel discussions and conversations with people from various cultural backgrounds who may offer their experiences, thoughts, and ideas.
